Welcome to www.herzberg.co.uk
This is a website for The Herzberg Family, from Chelmsford, England

I'm Wayne (56), father to Freya (26) and Nick (23)
I'm a Walking Printer Engineer in London and love the Job and the Best City in The World. I walk the streets of London between fixing customers printers/photocopiers, form small desktop units to Huge Full Colour Production Print machines. Generally Ricoh machines but also some Sharp.
I previously worked for Ricoh UK Ltd as Technical Product Manager for 24 years and that used to be a Cracking Job until the Suits running the Company gradually chipping away at the role until I was office based and the only work I did was picking up the phone and helping engineers who had problems with machines in the field.  I used to travel all over the UK to look at problem machines that engineers were having "Issues" with. I'd travel over Europe for meetings etc and to Japan for Product training.
The job ended with me being Sacked for a Facebook incident in December 2014, which was thought to bring the Ricoh name in to disrepute! But that was just Bollocks, it was really because they didn't like that I wasn't a YES man and told them to stick their £25 christmas bonus vouchers up their Arse! I just shouldn't have filmed it and put it on Facebook ;o)
Having said that, moving on after 24 years, was The Best thing that could have happened to me and being back on the Tools is Cracking.

I'm widowed as my Late wife Sally sadly died in 2008 following 7 years of horrible suffering from Motor Neuron Disease, a terrible disease that slowly disables the body with the loss of any Neuron signals getting from the brain to the muscles. In those dreadful 7 years Sally went from being able to Ski and a proficient Ice Skater in 2001 to being skeletal and only being able to move her Eyes in 2008.  She was a Loving mother and would do anything for Freya and Nick, who were 17 and 14 when Sally Passed Away and both of them have grown in to Fine Human beings and both have attained University Degrees at Southampton and Wolverhampton respectively.
Unfortunately, the MND not only destroyed Sally but our relationship and if I'm honest, we didn't really like each other in the last couple of years of her life. I was her carer as well as a Husband and Father. Yes we had wonderful carers that visited during the days and later during the night as I was getting very little sleep. I hadn't given up work and still worked full time 5 days a week, although 3 days were from home but it became tough, tough to see someone you love going through the things Sally was going through, knowing that there was NOTHING you could do about it! apart from feeding, cleaning etc.
We had good friends that helped me through those tough times by visiting Sally and taking her shopping and on trips to flower shows and the like and for that I'll be forever grateful. They know who they are.

For my sins, I'm also a season ticket holder at West Ham United and have been for many years and have seen some of the Best and unfortunately more often,  The Worst Football, both at The Boleyn Ground and now at The Former Olympic 2012 stadium in London. What can I say?? it's in My blood and my early childhood years were spent in East London about 800 yards from The Boleyn Ground and my Dad used to take me on his shoulders to peer through the brickwork and watch players training out in front of the ground in the early 60's. You don't pick your team, your Team picks you.
